The Atlanta Orthopaedic institute is proud to have Kevin Hartman as part of our team. Kevin is a board-certified physician assistant with specialized training in sports medicine.
Kevin received his Bachelor’s degree at Florida State University in Exercise Science and Sports Medicine. While at FSU, he worked as an Athletic Trainer with the NCAA National Championship football team and women’s soccer team. Kevin attended graduate school at the University of Southern Mississippi and was a member of the athletic training staff for the football and tennis teams. After receiving his Master’s degree, Kevin went to the University of Georgia, where he provided health care for the men’s and women’s track & field teams and with Olympic track and field athletes.
After a rewarding experience with UGA Sports Medicine, Kevin attended Emory University where he received his Master’s degree in Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Emory School of Medicine. He also completed additional training in pediatric orthopaedics , orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine. In addition to being a certified physician assistant, Kevin also maintains certification as an athletic trainer (ATC) and strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS). He is a Fellow member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Georgia Association of Physician Assistants and National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
